Ambassador Lin Nan attends the 13th  China Day Bazaar

On February 7, 2026, Ambassador Lin Nan attended the 13th  China Day Bazaar, bringing together over 2000 distinguished guests and Seychellois friends to celebrate the Chinese New Year.

The event was honored by the presence of the Vice President of Seychelles, Mr. Sebastien Pillay, Minister for Local Government and Inner Islands, Ms. Eveline Rose, Former Vice President Mr. Vincent Meriton, Principle Secretary Culture, Ms. Cecille Kalebi, Chairperson of the Chinese Association,Rose-Mary Lee-Bluemner, Acting Mayor of Victoria,Ms.Lydia Charlie,members of the Chinese community and members of the CAS.

In her remarks, Ambassador Lin Nan extended her warmest New Year greetings to the guests present and reviewed the substantial achievements of China and Seychelles cooperation. She noted that the Bazaar is a good example as well as an important platform for implementing the Global Civilization Initiative and deepening people-to-people exchanges. She expressed clear aspiration to continuously deepen practical cooperation and elevate China and Seychelles strategic partnership to a new height.

Ms. Cecille Kalebi and Mrs. Rose-Mary Lee-Bluemner spoke highly of the fruits of bilateral cooperation, expressing the hope to further deepen cooperation and strengthen friendship between our two countries.
